Australian Made Riding Halter with mecate reins is made from 6mm rope with a 14mm marine grade mecate.

The Mecate Reins are 21ft in length and are tied to the Halter in a way which creates both a looped rein and a long free end (lead) that is used for a number of purposes. When a rider is mounted the lead end is coiled and attached to the saddle. When the rider dismounts the lead is used as a lead rope and lunge rope when needed.
